From about April thru August our Ultra would record motion (cars) in one direction, but rarely in another. If it did, it would catch the car as it passes the camera and out of frame.
This seemed to be resolved some time in late Aug maybe Sept.
It has returned.
It is catching and recording to the Hub properly, but not the cloud. Same as before.
What has changed?

Probably nothing other than the sun's angle. These cameras aren't designed to record cars on the road but cars do reflect a lot of the sun's IR, causing false triggers. Since the purpose is to catch people, angle your cameras down to eliminate the sky and road from viwe. Remember that people can only be detected out to ~25 feet.
Additionally, remember that you also have Smart which will discard cloud recordings if it decides the object wasn't one of your chosen ones. Local recordings will keep everything.

Sun isn't the issue. No glare. Problem never occurred until the Spring to resolve some time late summer after being fine for over a year.
It catches motion records to hub but not the cloud. Arlo again is goofing up somewhere with firmware update probably.
