Jeffonhols,

Did the camera resync allow you to download the firmware update? Are you still experiencing issues?

Yes the resync did update the firmware

and it’s working fine

but

I’m using one cam in my shed which has a WiFi extender in there but it’s struggling to find the weak WiFi signal 🙄

Jeffonhols,

Arlo Ultra cameras connect directly to the SmartHub. Your WiFi extender will not have any impact on the signal strength of your cameras. If your camera is struggling to maintain it's connection with the SmartHub, you may need to relocate the camera or move the SmartHub closer to it's location to improve the signal strength.

Thank for that- I will try to move the hub and see if that fixes the issues

Thanks James I didn’t realise the location of the hub was the key issue .

whats the maximum range of signal from the hub ? Approximately .

i realise that building structures will affect this.
