Trying to replace camera due to bad case under warranty. Support only through email?

Arlo is the worst company to do business with.
The should be more transparent in their business practices.
Within 90 days, you have full support, text and phone, but after 90 days, unless you sign up for their paid services, you only have support via email.
I paid the same amount to purchase this product as everyone else and I am still within my product warranty.
I had a bad camera case and tried to get them to replace it under my product warranty.
The option that I had was to purchase another one and then send them the other one back on my dime.
This company is really lacking in the customer service and support side.
I will definitely let everyone that I know that is considering a security camera, the hidden support issues with this company.
Very disappointing.

While agree support is subpar you do not need a subscription to contact support by phone or chat.
