in My camera device settings it says HDR and local 4K live. I understand how the local live works my question is that is it better to have both tabs enabled the hdr and 4K live? Or are they about the same (understanding that only 2 cameras at a time can be utilizing 4K)

4K increases the camera resolution; HDR (High Dynamic Range) increases the range of whites/blacks that can be captured (allowing for brighter whites and deeper blacks). So they are independent features.
I think it's best to leave HDR enabled, though truthfully I haven't seen that much difference whether it's on or off.
