Hi, I have the 3 camera ultra system and it’s the worst cameras I have had, they constantly keep disconnecting, I have had a new base from arlo to correct issues and for a few weeks it worked but now it’s disconnecting again, I have moved the base and the cameras closer to each other to get good signal on the WiFi then 1 camera disconnects so I move base closer then another disconnects now the 2 cameras that disconnects
The most are within 15 feet of the base, The furthest is 30 feet and that doesn’t disconnect half as much as the closer ones, they are all powered as the battery’s didn’t last long, I moved the base away from my house phone and moved away from the router as arlo said if other WiFi can cause issues, but most of my house is full of WiFi products, I have lights , TVs , iPads , Alexa devices all connected to WiFi, I have 30 products connected to the new BT discs WiFi and they all work really good except the ultra cameras , when no one is home using devices they still disconnect, if Arlo products can’t handle other WiFi products in the same vicinity, they shouldn’t be selling them, does anyone else having issues like this? Thanks Steve

Carter71,
Large amounts of WiFi interference from other devices can cause connectivity issues. I'd like to understand a bit more about this issue to get a better idea of what you're experiencing. When you notice a disconnect, what specific activity are you attempting? Does this happening when you're trying time live stream? Does it happen every time or intermittently? Do you have to do anything specific to recover or does the camera recover on it's own?

Hi it can disconnect anytime, sometime I’ll click on the app and notice it’s offline and it’s been off for hours then I have to get out the ladders take it out re sync it then put it back, I was told previous it was my Home phone so I disconnected it, then the cameras still disconnected so I have now put the router on a another floor with the arlo hub so it’s the same level and they still disconnect, I have even tried on the top floor as I have a 3 story and I was getting full WiFi bars on the camera but it still disconnected, I am losing my patients up and down ladders and moving cameras and swapping cameras and moving boxes, we live in a world of tech, so I don’t understand why I have so much issues with these yet all my devices of which I have a lot connect to the BT broadband router and mesh disc are really good, the only thing I have issues with is the arlo. How come all my other devices can handle these WiFi signals yet the state of the art arlo devices which cost more than some of my devices can’t handle a bit of interference, if that is the case.

And again the closest camera with full strength disconnects, it’s not the camera as I have swapped them all around, the arlo hub as been swapped, so it’s not that, it’s the whole system, it’s not fit for its purpose, how to you rely on this system to help protect your home, when they can’t even stay connected long enough to check or use them, still waiting for Arlo customer support to contact me after 3 days nothing, I feel more robbed by buying this system than if I had been burgled.
