What is the difference between the activity zone setting and the video settings?
Both have a customizable recording areas. One being a simple square recording area and the other is octagon shaped.

The video mode is set to "wide".

On my driveway camera I set the activity zone so as not to record cars that drive by but I still get notifications of cars passing by anyway.

Activity zones are used to block detections while in the video settings it's a pan and zoom feature to simply crop the video.

Cars can cause reflections to things inside the zone that are then triggering recordings. If the recordings are noted as Vehicle, try turning off that setting in Smart Notifications for that camera. You could also reduce motion sensitivity in your modes and rules to help but testing would be needed to ensure you get what you need while reducing false triggers. Camera positioning could also be key by rotating the camera so the street isn't in view (see the FAQ here in the support area for best camera positioning).
