Cannot login to my Arlo account on my laptop. Says cannot recognize device.

I cannot login to my Arlo account on my laptop.  It says cannot recognise device so send a push notification, but I never get the notification on my phone and then it times out.

I've worked it out now.  I had the wrong number including country code

Sounds like you have 2FA issue. A lap top is not a trusted device so it will send a push notification to you phone with a verification code. You should have your phone as a trusted device and would get the notification. 

What is two-step verification and how do I set it up? (arlo.com)

I've tried setting that up but I don't get the notification on my phone.

Does the app work on the phone otherwise and have you made it a trusted device per the article.
