Hi there.
I have 8 Arlo Ultra cameras that I use outdoors at a remote property.
This property is in northern Saskatchewan, Canada, so there are times when the temp goes down to -40 C(without wind chill).
Obviously, during the winter months the outdoor cameras spend some of their time in low temp mode, which is fine.
I've had them for 3 years now, and they have always started back up when the temperature warms up.
Unfortunately, this last year we've had a particularly long cold snap at the property. As expected, all of the cameras went into low temp mode, but 2 of them remained stuck in low temp mode despite temperatures warming to the operating range, and the other cameras working just fine.
Last time I was up at the property, I took the cameras into the house to warm up, that didn't work.
I took out, and re-inserted the batteries....that worked for one of the cameras.
The other camera, I had to factory reset, and that worked for that camera.
I set them up back outside and they were working just fine.
Unfortunately, there was another cold snap...as expected all the cameras went into low temp mode, and when it warmed up they started working again...EXCEPT FOR THE SAME TWO THAT REMAINED STUCK IN LOW TEMP MODE.
This property is about 4 hours away from my home location so its not an easy matter for me to go up the to factory reset these 2 cameras.
Any ideas about how to fix these cameras so they don't get stuck in low temp mode with the next cold snap?

harrisonken,
Have you tried rebooting the base station/SmartHub using the Arlo mobile app when this happens?

Hey there.
Thanks, yup I have tried rebooting the base station from the mobile app, and also physically resetting the base station when this occurs (I have the base stations on a wifi remote power switch, so I can physically turn them off and back on remotely as well). That didn't seem to work either.
Thanks though
Ken
