My Arlo Ultra always says it's connected to power. Even when it is unplugged.
Also had the camera charging for over 24 hours and never get the battery charged light. I even confirmed it was turned on in settings.
Seems pretty buggy. Looking for support before I return it.

Now as of last night there must of been an update to the firmware. I happened to walk by the camera and the blue light was on for the first time. The app icon changed to a battery with a charging symbol. I unplugged the device and it showed the battery with it's % remaining.
We maybe good to go!

Is the camera and base on the latest firmware? Have you tried removing the camera and resyncing it?

I have restarted the base station a few times. I also updated the firmware for both.
Just removed all devices "hub and Arlo camera". I have no other Arlo products.
Still shows plugged in even when power cable is disconnected.
Screenshot attached.

I'd guess it's a bad camera. Swap at the store or open a case with support:

Rkinman,
Do you see this on the web client as well? Have you tried reinstalling the mobile app?

Rkinman,
Glad to hear. Please let me know if you experience any further unexpected behavior like this.
