Are you using the original ac adapter for the Ultra ??

You can try cleaning the contacts on both sides of the magnetic connector (cable and camera) to see if that helps. Otherwise, swap the supply at the store or open a case with support:

Good idea. I'll try that to see if it helps. Any recommendation on what to use (or what not to use) to clean the contacts (wire brush, pencil eraser, magic eraser sponge, steel wool)?

The batteries in the cameras really only get charged to 80% to allow them to be on charge all the time without damage.
In the charging tube/station they will get a 100% charge.
