Is there a way to cause the camera images to refresh on app open?

I have 3 cameras under devices and the thumbnail images are always very old, from whenever I last clicked on a camera to view it.

No way right now (though generally it will also update when it detects motion).

One aspect is that refreshing the images when the app opens will slow down the app launch (as the cloud would need to trigger a snapshot from each camera in the account, and wait for them to arrive).

If they added a refresh button that would be ideal.

A lot of the time I don't need a full video stream, I just need to see a few frames to see what's going on and then decide if it is worth clicking and waiting for a full stream to load up.

I agree that would be a good way to address this.

I'd vote for it.

Maybe don't call it "Refresh". (Could get confused with browser refresh.)

"Current view"
