Any benefits with old basestation when moving over to Ultra´s basestation?

Got the first basestation and planing to moving over to Ultra camera, which means that I need to upgrade to newest basestation but can I use the old one for anything? Like extend signal? anything?

For cameras that are outside the range of the Ultra hub?

 

So that you can use the alarm – if there is one – on your old hub, whatever model that is?
