Front door camera still detects and sends notification even if motion is detected outside the activity zone!!
I even used the Camera positioning utility but still, I'm getting notification outside camera detection area!! Really annoying because my house is on a road with lots of car traffic.

I've the same challenge. System does not seem to respect the zones I have created nor give me options to monitor only those areas. This is a major issue as I have both a street and a flag within the fields of vision necessary to cover the areas I want to monitor.

I changed the settings earlier today. The gray area does go up to the street level but I created three activity zones just under the street. Would I be getting three notifications when motion have crossed all three zones?

I will be deleting the activity zones and rely on area outside the gray area. I just noticed this:
Note: every time motion is detected, the camera will need to send video to the cloud for processing, to determine if motion occurred within the defined zone(s). When the camera is operating on battery power, you may notice your battery level lowering over time, even though you may not have many recordings in the library.

Sorry I'm bombarding you with information, I also noticed this ear icon on top left, does it mean the camera is detecting audio because I have audio detection disabled!!

Arlo recently deployed a cloud update enhancing Activity Zone accuracy. This should improve the experience for users reporting symptoms of motion detection alerts and recordings occurring outside of their defined Activity Zones. We are continuing to monitor Activity Zone behavior and will provide additional enhancements in the coming weeks.
