Customer has 4 Ultra 2s with base station and 3 Pro 4 XLs with base station. So the Ultra 2s are hooked up to the base station, is it better to have the Pro 4 XLs hook up directly to the wi-fi, passing the base station, or if better to connect the Pro 4s XL to the base station. If so, can I use one base station and have 7 cameras connected to one base station with the new subscription plans? Also if customer wants the Pro 4 XLs to hook up directly to the wi-fi is it better to install the Pro 4 XLs first, with the base station off, then install the Ultra 2s with the base station on?
Thanks,
Feng Shui

It depends on several factors. If the home wifi uses extenders (or is mesh), then the signal strength is often better when connecting directly to wifi.
On the other hand, if you want local storage, then the cameras need to be connected through the base.

Yes. All cameras can be on the same subscription (whether connected to home wifi or the base).
Though a base can only handle 5 streams at a time, so if all cameras are triggered at the same time there would be some lost streams.

It doesn't really matter, so whatever is easiest for you is fine.
