I moved, didnt fire this up for nearly a year. And now I am trying set up my security system in my new house and the app cant see the base station.

This makes it impossible to add to my account.

Any help would be appreciated.

Blue Light - steady.
Unplugged.
Replugged Ether.
Replugged Power.
Waited for Blue Light.
Went to App.
Clicked add Base
Cant find.
1Gig Internet
Directly connected to Modem.
Nothing fancy.

Thanks

SOLVED.

1) Power down.
2) Unplug your Base Station.
3) Remove the Network Cable from BOTH your router/modem AND your Base Station.
4) Wait 2 minutes.
5) Connect network cable to the Router.
6) Connect network cable to the Base Station.
7) Connect power cable to the Base Station.
8 ) Let it run for 15min.
9) Check LEDs
     (a) If you see Yellow. You arent connected to the Network. No internet connection.
     (b) If you see Blinking Yellow. Error. Likely a firmware issue.
     (c) If you see Blue. You are connected to the internet.
You want to see (c)
If you dont see (c)
      1. Find the back of your base station.
      2. Find the Factory Reset keyhole. It is labeled "Reset".
      3. Use a Pin, Paperclip or Toothpick to hold until the Base starts blinking Yellow and Blue back and forth.
     4. Walk away and come back in about 20min or so. Stay out of the App.
When you return, you should see (c) now. Solid Blue.

If you see Blue and Blinking, it means that your profile contains cameras, base stations and etc that are still registered to your old network. You will need to remove them from your account completely and then readd them.

If you cannot find them, you should remove them all from your account. Then reset your base station using the steps above until you get a solid blue.

Once completed, open your mobile app and select Add Devices.
Add your Base Station.

If you are still having an issue, ensure that your Wifi network that your phone is on is a 2.4GHz channel. For some reason, it works best on this band.

If you still cant find the product you are looking for, reboot the modem/outer without the base station connected.
Once completed, attach the data cable first to the router, then the base station. Then plug the base station in, wait for blue. Then try the app again.

Hope this helps.

Simply moving the system doesn't require adding any device. Since the hub plugs in via Ethernet, all that's required is for the router to provide an IP address and the router and ISP allow access to the Arlo servers.

You can't re-claim the hub if it's still in your account. You have to remove it and start fresh, as if new.
