My camera is constantly recording, even after multiple resets, it happened after a firmware update last week. I can barely keep it charged long enough to mess with it

Did you do the full hardware reset?

  1. remove the camera from the account
  2. open the housing, and press the button inside until the camera LED flashes amber ( ~15 sec)
  3. add the camera back to the account

Thanks for replying Stephen, I did that twice, if I plug it in and face it to a corner or in a drawer it just keeps sensing motion almost nonstop

Sounds like something is wrong with the PIR sensor hardware.

I had the same problem with all of my 5 cameras since the update, constantly updating the batteries and looking for an alternative system.
