Got a couple of Arlo Ultra 2 camera's today, for a 'pet cam use case'.
In the low light settings I turned off 'spotlight'.
But... if friends login they can still turn on 'spotlight'??? In the video feed there is a 'lamp icon' to turn spotlight on. It's driving me nuts and draining the batteries. If friends want to see our cats litter, they turn on the spotlight... so then all of a sudden there are some bright lights in our living room...
With audio it works fine... the setting for mike / speaker are off. And if a friend clicks on the speaker icon in the feed, they get a message it is overruled by the settings. That is the way it should work for spotlight too...
So how can I make sure the 'lamp icon' isn't selectable / visible / working???

You could try putting some heavy tape over the spotlight. It probably wouldn't block the spotlight out entirely, but it should help.
