Siren activates but no video

At night, we have cameras on the back and side of our house set to record, notify, and activate the sirens if they detect motion from people. On a couple of occasions at night we have noticed the sirens going off. However, there are no notifications and nothing is recorded. Anyone have this issue and learned how to troubleshoot?

Do you have Smart enabled on these cameras? Try disabling Smart on them to see what happens. You may want to also enable local recordings on your hub since those videos are of everything that happened while Smart may discard some that would otherwise show up in the cloud library.

Thank you @jguerdat. Will try that out. Is there anywhere I can go on the app to see which camera had been triggered?

The only indication would be the camera thumbnail on the Devices card. The thumbnail may change as well as the time the last video was recorded.

If you have activity zones enabled, then disable them. Your symptoms are consistent with motion being detected outside of the zones.
