I’m been looking for a screw on extension arm for the Arlo mount. I’d like to move the Ultra 2 out a few inches so it’s over the window sill. I see lots of taller mounts but not seeing anything that will screen on to the existing Arlo mounts to just extend. Anyone seen one of these?

First, any standard camera mount will work... 1/4-20 threads

Have you tried a flexible mount... there are many

or

there is always adjustable

Thanks.

I most likely can’t remove, replace or change the existing mount hence the question about an extension that could screw onto the existing mounted mount. A search around Amazon didn’t find any but I’m betting I’m not the first to ask about this so what why I asked here.

Look for coupling nuts in 1/4"-20 thread. You can then add your own extension bolt (cut the head off an existing bolt):

Thanks. What is this "extension bolt" ? I don't have any way to cut a bolt. Is there not an arm of some type made to just screw in?

Possibly - you'd have to look and/or ask sales folks or look online.
