Local recording stopped working

i have 2 of the ultra 2 with vmb5000. local recording still record but I can't view them. the phone and the hub are on the same wifi. I can view the record if I remove the micro sd card and plug in my pc. it give me an error "video on base is not available" when trying to view on my phone. I have reboot the hub a few time, log out and back in on my phone, turn off wifi and back on. nothing work. I had these camera for about almost 4 years now. it been fine most of the time. did arlo stop local recording and force everyone to get a plan?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

yes that actually work for me but my wife phone still have the same problem. we both using the same login so it not the permission thing. thanks for the help.

Is this occurring with any other hand held devices by chance? What is the model phone you and your wife have and what's the OS versions?

she has the same as I do. iphone 13 pro. both of our phone are identical.

Can you manually verify that she is using the admin credentials. The ability to view local recordings from a shared user account is currently not supported, there's a chance that is the issue.

how do you verify that? I only create 1 account and we both login using that account.

Assuming you were the one who originally set up the system, that should be fine. Do you see the videos if you eject the drive for viewing on a computer? I guess it's possible that the micro SD card is faulty so it could be worthwhile to try another one.

I had this happen before. Reformat the micro sd card and to be completely prudent factory reset the VMB5000. Only way I got it back to normal.

And also, my girlfriend is a moron and saves billions of pictures and apps and music and girl stuff on her phone and it's too full for both OS and app updates to be applied. Just check on that because chicks never remove stuff from their phones and they run old and slow.
