Arlo Ultra 2 Cameras Not Recording Video

Hi everyone! I am using a free Arlo account. I've had 2 Arlo cameras in one location for a few years and added 2 new Arlo Ultra 2 cameras in another location recently. My original 2 cameras have always recorded video just fine (to the Arlo cloud). However the 2 new cameras are not recording video at all. I can see live feeds from them... but they are not recording any footage to the Arlo cloud.

Do are free Arlo account allow me to have 2 base stations and 4 cameras (and does it allow all 4 cameras to record video)?

 

What can I try to resolve my issue? I removed the cameras in the app and reinstalled them but that did not fix the issue.

All currently sold cameras (including all Ultra models) require a subscription to get cloud storage.

 

If you have a VMB4540 or VMB5000 smarthub, you could use direct access to local storage.  Not nearly as good an experience, but people do use it instead of a subscription.
