I can not get my phone to connect to the arlo base. It was, but we could not get my husbands phone

This is the 1st time we have tried to use this new security system. It set up like a champ on my phone, but not my husbands.  So I uninstalled it on my phone and then we tried his again.  Nothing, so then he reset the camera's. Now he has it and I can not get it back on my phone.  It says Arlo does not find your devise or something like that.  This is so frustrating.  Can anyone help?
