I'm a newb to encryption.
Curious what parts of the transfer of data are encrypted?
By "transfer of data" I mean: Camera --> Base Station --> Router --> Cloud --> Arlo app on my phone.
Thanks!

The whole chain is encrypted, though the cloud does decrypt so it can process the video. That's required for activity zones and smart notifications to work.
So technically not "end-to-end", since with true end-to-end, the cloud would not be able to decrypt.
Arlo has never said if the cloud storage itself is encrypted (on the disks) - though I suspect it is.
