Having issues with my cameras and connection. Have 2 cameras, connected to the smart hub, connected to the router.

1 camera is constantly going off line, sits at 1 bar wifi signal in the red and goes on and off. The one that is a problem is sitting at the other end of the house to the smart hub and router. Just wondering if a wifi booster will work on the arlo hub? Or any advice would be great

smart hub is VNB5000

You'd need a second hub, not a WiFi extender. The connection from the base/hub is not extensible but perhaps moving the hub could help. You could also use a WiFi extender to help reposition the hub to a different location rather than next to the router. That could help all cameras to have a better connection.

Thank you for your advice.

How would it work using a wifi extender to reposition the hub? Currently the hub is connected to my router with a cable. Is there another way to connect?

thanks again

Most any WiFi (or powerline) extenders have at least one Ethernet port on them. Thus, setting up the extender to your network and then connecting the base or hub to the extender with the cable should work fine. That would allow you to position the hub more centrally relative to the cameras.
