I purchased Ultra 2 with security mounts. I also purchased Quadpod Mount. Ultra 2 is supposed to be compatible. I can't find any information on how to attach ultra 2 to the Quadpod. It appears that I need to remove the security mount assembly because nothing about it is compatible with the quad mount. Is there a different receiver that has to be installed on the camera housing?

I don't have a security mount camera so can't directly address your issue but it appears that the quadpod has a screw that will thread into most cameras. If the security mount case, even when fully disassembled, doesn't have that embedded "nut" in the case, the two are incompatible. The security mount on a quadpod doesn't make any sense to me but a regular case would. I'd return the camera and get the regular version if you need to use the quadpod.
