Good evening team,
So a couple of nights ago there was an issue with arlo notifications where every couple of seconds we would get a sound notification with a 10 second clip over and over again.
Then when it finally stopped we haven't been getting any notifications except when a person walks past the camera
Usually it pics up trees moving
Animals , pets cars driving by etc
But yeah it's just stopped
I've turned on all notifications for both sound and motion with and without a activity zone and still nothing is getting picked up 😞
I have also tried reinstalling my app
Im just about to try a smarthub restart just in case
But any ideas or is anyone else having theses issues?
I can confirm this is also happening to everyone else's phones in the house as well

I think i fixed it, I had to go in to Arm Home settings and readd all my montion detections.
Only problem is now im getting 1000 sound notifications: which i have posted about in this thread.

Also I forgot to mention but i cannot edit my previous post after about 5 minutes of posting the edit button vanishes
the notifications are coming through my Amazon Alexa Devices just not via the phone app or the Dashboard online

Did you restart the hub? Did that help? If not, try removing the camera from your account, reset it and add it back.

Sadly not, it's not picking up any motion other then people walking by them which I get notifications and recordings for
Other then that all other motion animal, noise etc is not appeaing being registered
All motion and sound options under
Person icon > Plan > Smart Detection > Camera Name
As a test for 24 hours ( because with that enabled I should be getting lots of notifications/ recordings
But nothing much minus people and 1 person pulling up in a car showed up

Just to clarify the settings... is this the situation?
- All smart detections for the camera are turned on
- the mode you are using has a rule for the camera that includes audio detection, motion detection, and recording
- the feed settings includes all event types
- there are no activity zones for the camera
- motion and audio detection thresholds are set to 100% (for the test)
But still missing obvious notifications?

That is correct
I even tried with a activity zone and still nothing.
The 2 arlo cameras are giving very little notifications only big objects such as people and sometimes cars are detected , everything else such as trees moving, animals, and no sound notifications either
Like it went down under we got bombarded with 10 second audio detections notifications because after that this all started like the system had a meltdown

Do you have local recordings also set up? It might be useful to see what is showing up locally - sometimes that will show clips that are not in the cloud.
You might also try a hard reset on one of the cameras (removing it from the account, holding down sync inside the camera until the LED flashes amber, then adding the camera back).

Hey guys, so
- I restarted the hub,
- got on the latter, removed & reset both cameras ( held down sync until until amber)
- Re-added them,
- Turned on all motion and sound motion
- Cranked up the detection to 100%
And sadly it's only picking up very little events
Like birds are chirping , people are lawn mowing, trains are close by
I should be getting notifications for all of that since all motion is on
Sadly that's not the case
I also do not have local storage setup

Screenshots of the cameras' views may help as well as of each camera's Default Mode Settings. A description of the distances involved may also be useful.

I have tried with and without a activity zone and we only rarely get montion notifications for an animal , person or car
I think its time to try and get a refund ( even know i think its out of warranty) and go for Eufy

The bottom camera (driveway) view makes me think most movement would be AT the camera rather than ACROSS the FOV. Cars in the distance may or may not trigger recordings and people need to be within 25-ish feet. The top camera should be fine as-is. Does that one work better when testing?

Before you said that disabling all the audio smart detections eliminated the recordings. It that still the case?

So still getting audio apparently there is no way to turn it off
My current settings for the cameras are as follows

Do you have Smoke/CO Alarm enabled in each camera's Smart Detection settings? If so, disable it unless you really need it.
