Arlo Ultra 2 False Motion Triggering

I have a newish Arlo ultra 2 that all the sudden has started triggering constant false motion alerts.   There is nothing there. I brought the stupid thing inside to charge it and it's currently triggering false motion alerts while being pointed at a wall in a room by itself. 

Is there any fix to this or did I waste my money on this piece of garbage?

I'd start by removing/reinserting the battery to reboot the camera.

If that doesn't help, then I'd do a hardware reset:

1. Remove the camera from the account.
2. Open the housing and press the button inside until the LED flashes amber (about 15 seconds)
3. Add the camera back to the account.

I ended up sending it back.  It just glitched out and that was it.
