Arlo Smart Hub VMB5000 shows on network, not on app

After power interruption, I can't reconnect the Smart Hub to the app or My.Arlo.com online.

I have been able to get the hub on the 2.4ghz part of my network as well with my phone (app) and laptop(my.arlo.com), but still neither will connect with smart hub.

I've tried re-syncing, resetting (wiping out all my devices & settings).

What am I missing?

The reset should have worked but try rebooting your router and hub, in that order. Sometimes there's an issue with either the hub becoming ready before the router or the router has some sort of issue with the hub's connection.

 

BTW, the WiFi connection is of no importance since the hub connects via Ethernet. As long as the hub's LED is solid blue, it should be working with the caveats above being noted.

After a live support call, the real issue is that the cameras should have been removed prior to resetting the smart hub. I was then walked through the process of adding & connecting the cameras back.
