SmartHub local storage files deletion

Hi,

It seems that there is no option to delete some files from the smarthub local storage (micro sd) without formatting. 

if I’m not wrong (please tell me how then) this will be a nice option to add to the Arlo app. 
if privacy is a concern, then ask for consent to enable the feature.

Correct.  The original purpose of local storage was archival, so this is by design.  The policy has nothing to do with privacy.

Other users have asked for this, and it certainly would be valuable when local storage is used in place of a subscription.
