I have a total of 6 cameras with 2 base units at 2 different locations. My app on my phone would only allow 5 cameras without a smart plan. I signed up for a single camera smart plan for the sixth camera and it was activated but then one of the other cameras was deactivated. Why?

Unfortunately, these cameras will need a full plan to cover all 6, not just a single camera plan for the "extra" one. The easy thing to do is to remove the cameras and base from one location and create a new account with a 2nd email address. Add the base and cameras to that account and then use Settings, Grant Access from the new account to the original's email address so all cameras will still show in one login. It's not quite the same as all cameras in one account but it's usually close enough.
