Phone up and faulty Arlo hub connection

The new Arlo Hub station is connected to wifi it has a blue light the issue I have is my phone won't connect to the base station. Can someone help out please

A few things here - not trying to be mean. The hub connects to your router via the Ethernet cable, not WiFi. I know folks tend to relate everything to their WiFi but it helps to use the proper terms when needing technical help so we're all on the same page.
ALso, the phone is just being used as an interface into your account to be able to add the hub to that account. The phone doesn't connect to the hub.
WHen trying to add the hub, what happens? What have you tried and what do you see? Are you using a VPN on your phone? If so, disable it. You may also want to try turning the phone's cell service connection off so it is only using your WiFi for the setup. If you have a computer, use the web client (my.arlo.com) to see if you can set up the hub that way. You can't set up most cameras using the computer but getting the hub configured is allowed.
