I upgraded the Arlo app on my phone and am now only seeing one of the two accounts.  Account 1 is on base station 1. Account 2 is on base station 2.  I am signed in to account 1, but after the upgrade, I no longer see account 2.  I tried to share account 2 with account 1, but, it does not seem to be working. What am I doing wrong?

You're doing nothing wrong. It's just one of "the exciting new features" that one gets with the upgrade is inability to manage different locations under one subscription. This means that users have to buy a separate subscription. This is deceptive in my opinion because you are not informed about that before the upgrade, and for some like me, there was no way to opt out of the upgrade, or at least it looked like there wasn't when I installed a video doorbell which I now no longer use anyway.

Both accounts need to be migrated to the "Feed" interface.  So if you migrate account 1 also, then the friend feature will work again.

You can force the migration with this hack:

  1. log into account 1 (either on the phone or my.arlo.com)
  2. start to add a Pro 5s camera

You can't complete that process without the camera.  But the workflow will migrate the account to "Feed' before you get stuck.

@KramP has two accounts now.  So this has nothing to do with the subscription requirement.
