Hello,
I keep getting alerts on my phone that ‘person’ is detected on my camera. When I got to the video no person is there. How do I fix this?
A couple times it has scared me when I get the alert because it’s been late at night or early in the morning and I’m wondering why someone is on my back porch.

When viewing the video, choose to Donate it so the team can tweak the AI. There must be something in the scene that it's interpreting as a person. FWIW, I have a filter for my koi pond that keeps getting identified as a "person" - it does slightly resemble a snowman in shape...

Hi @DJ502
Are you still experiencing this issue?
May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

Yes I am still experiencing it. I saw on a past post from several years ago, steps to do to try and fix it. I have tried all those with no luck (checking all setting on cameras, turning them off then back on, unplugging them for a few minutes and then restarting, etc)

Thanks for the update. If you like you can try turning Off/On the smart Notifications within the App settings > Profile > Select Home > Smart Notifications. You can also try removing and reinstalling the camera again.

Same with me!!!! It’s ridiculous. This is supposed to be a reliable security system. I have to respond to each instance.
I also get animal alerts.
I’ve been using ARLO for over 5 years and never had this issue.
