Feedback about ARlo Smart (not consistent with detecting motion)

For the last 12/18 months I have had 2 Pro 2 cameras, on two different sites both on Arlo Smart subscription. They are both HW V3. This is also the first time I have have written in anger about any product.

To say that they are USELESS as any form of security is an understatement! 

To begin to detail the issues is mind wrecking. In summary they do not consistantly detect motion, people or vecicles. I have had a number of instances in the drives of my houses where cars or people entering or leaving have not been detected. Motion on a few occasions has been notifies as an animal! The video timer does not consistantly record to the time I set it for.

I have seen the advice on the forums, reboot, take out the battery, disconnect hub etc...all to no avail. While this is quite admirable from ordinary users it is pathetic coming from Arlo. But as one who has set up this type of forum in the past, they do fulfill a purpose...keep the customers at bay.

In short they are a disaster and I could not recomment them to anyone other than Toys for Big Boys.

Time to go back to the drawing board Arlo!
