Costco, best buy and many places are selling the lights almost 60% off. Is the new version coming out soon? Or the light is way over priced to start with? (or they will be discontinued?)

Arlo stopped manufacturing the security lights (ALS1101) back in 2018. They are on the end-of-life list, and will no longer be supported by Arlo after 1 January 2025. They will likely still function after that, but Arlo is not guaranteeing that will always be the case.
