After a recent update, my bridge will not follow the schedule. How can this be rectified?

Define "recent update". If you mean your user interface (UI) changed so you now see Feed to view recordings rather than the old Library, that's likely the cause. AFAIK, the security lights with bridge aren't supported under the new UI - you should have received a warning during the UI migration to that effect.

Interesting, I had to upgrade my UI so I could add a new Pro5S and it made no mention that the security lights would cease to function. I read through the whole note. In addition I was reading a KB article and it only mentions the Arlo Go as being not supported. Made no mention of the security lights.

It's entirely possible that the lights/bridge are now supported (they weren't initially). You may want to use the app to go to Settings, Support and choose your lights. Scroll down to Contacts to see what official support suggests.
