What bugs are you experiencing within the mobile app? Could you provide details?
If your cameras are not catching a lot of motion, it could be due to sensitivity or positioning. Keep in my the maximum effective PIR range is around 23 feet. Beyond that, the cameras may detect motion but will likely be inconsistent. For more information on positioning and adjusting sensitivity, take a look here:

If you're seeing image distortion, this is typically a sign of interference or poor signal strength. An easy test is to temporarily relocate the camera and test to see if the issue still occurs in a different location.
You can adjust your camera to record for a fixed duration when motion is detected within the camera rules. You can also adjust motion sensitivity if you're experiencing issues with the camera detecting nearby activity.
