Viewing videos on local storage USB device via Arlo Secure app

Hi everyone,

I have a USB hard drive connected to an Arlo Pro Smart Hub (VMB4540) as shown in the picture below. At least months ago, when I didn't have an Arlo subscription plan, in the iPhone's Arlo Secure app I could go to Devices > Base Station > Storage Settings, and the bottom half of the screen would show all the videos that have been stored on the USB hard drive. Clicking on any of the videos should play it on the iPhone Arlo Secure app.

Now when I do the same thing, there are no longer any videos showing up (red box in picture below). By connecting the USB hard drive to a laptop I've confirmed that the videos are recording onto the device just fine.

 

I believe my "Local Storage Settings" are configured correctly as shown below

Is this an error? Is there anything I can do so that I can once more view the videos on the Arlo Secure app? Thanks in advance for any help given.

Turns out all I had to do was have both the iPhone and the SmartHub connected to the same WiFi. Oops!
