Videos continue playing in the background:

 

Go to local storage > play a video > go to portrait/landscape mode > select 'cross' to stop playing it as soon as the video has started playing > it continues playing in the background (Vmb5000/ultra/Moto edge 40)

 

I find it ironic that Arlo Customer Care team insist that the app and firmware are properly tested before being released. Who knows, maybe they're talking about a different company? 🤔

Can you please provide what app version you are using? Have you tried to uninstall the app and reinstall the app?

Hi, and thank you for responding. The version is 5.0.1 and I've removed/cleared caches/force closed the app and re-installed it. Are you able to replicate the issue?

@Edinburgh_lad1 are you still seeing the same behavior of the videos playing in the background? I want to apologize for the delay in my response on this post.

Hi I'm not aware of this - something for sorting this out. Also, pressing the cross while viewing the video stops the playback. So, it looks like both issues have been resolved. Thank you.
