Obviously: new version/update, new issue.
Start the app, go to 'Add a new device', cancel adding a new device. Outcome: tiles for my ultra on Android are black.

@JamesC I'd also like you to consider talking to your bosses regarding a programme of incentives for us volunteers on here for identifying bugs. It's obviously our time and effort, as well as willingness to help Arlo put things right.
At the moment, there isn't even a thank-you, not to mention an apology for letting down your customers, and not only is that unacceptable but also rude.

This issue appears to affect the Dashboard display in the app, and not the Devices section. In other words, one should attempt to replicate the issue using: Dashboard > Add a new device
