I have been an Arlo subscriber for almost 4 years now, and the only reason I went with Arlo instead of Ring is because of the Apple HomeKit integration without having to deal with additional setup. Right now I feel like I want to get rid of the entire system because of the poorly designed platform and support team.

Up until this week, I would only get push notifications for things like people, packages or animals. Somehow I'm now getting push notifications for EVERYTHING. My main issue is, I don't want to get push notifications for vehicle detections, and I have turned this off in the Smart Detection. I live on a busy street, so there's always vehicles driving by.

Let's say you have Smart Detections "ON" for Vehicle... you will get push notifications that say your camera detected a VEHICLE. If you turn that "off", you will still get a notification that say MOTION instead of VEHICLE... who in their right mind would design something so dumb!?

But to my original point, this was not an issue until this week... so I would appreciate that Arlo fixes this. I DON'T WANT TO GET PUSH NOTIFICATIONS for things I don't care about... I'm fine if the camera still records it, but don't push notifications unless I want to get them.

Try also disabling "all other motion" notifications.

Are you still experiencing this symptom?

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.
