Since the recent app update, I've been getting new notifications that I do not want to see and I haven't found where to turn them off. I run on a schedule (9pm - 11:59pm + 12:00am - 6am) so I am getting a notification for each camera when armed and when a schedule is activated.  So I get 2 push notifications at 9pm (schedule activated and camera armed) for multiple cameras. Then at 11:59pm I get another set of notifications (schedule activated and camera disarmed), again at 12am, etc.

This is TOO MUCH NOISE and makes it difficult to actually see the real events I would like to monitor. I only want to see push notifications for motion detected like it was prior to the upgrade. I've disabled mode change event types in the feed settings but this didn't seem to change anything.

    Hi all,

Following up from last week, the team is still working on some enhancements. I’ll provide updates here as more information comes in.

Hi @tmb-19

Thanks for your patience. After inquiring with the team, this is by design, but there is an enhancement coming that should help relieve this symptom.

Hope there is an update that lets us turn off this notification as its very annoying, I have many cameras that get turned on and off and get 20 notifications a day which are just telling me this

I also find this extremely annoying, as most users will likely have a schedule-based monitoring.

that implies 2 notifications per area per day (on / off)

there should be a way to disable this

I’ve resorted to turning off phone notifications because they’ve become useless with all of the noise. This defeats the purpose of real time monitoring so what are we even doing here? The fact that this fix is being treated as an “enhancement” is mind boggling.

I guess i'll have to resort to this too

I find it fantastic that Arlo did not discover this during testing. Having a schedule over midnight must be a very common scenario. Please fix this very annoying issue.

Add another user annoyed by this.  I get constant notifications about vehicles passing by my house.   I've had to adjust my zones to not show the street which means I may miss folks walking up to my door.  Which is what I really care about.

We used to be able to pick which notifications we got.  Why was this removed?  It makes zero sense to remove a feature that was useful.
