Iphone 14pro max app will not open

Reaching out to see if anyone can help. Yesterday suddenly I found I was unable to open the Arlo app on my phone for some reason. Tried several times, and then deleted the app and downloaded once again. Still no joy. The Arlo page opens and asks "Do you wish to recieve notifications etc etc" Once I click 'Allow' thats it. Nothing else happens.

Checked online account via Macbook and that appears to be ok, with the new phone details allowing push notifications etc.

Downloaded the app several times both on 3G and Wifi and the results were the same, in that opening page appears, allow notifications etc and thats it - it will not open any futher.

Managed to get hold of a very helpful Arlo support guy called Gregorz who did as much as he could before escalating to Technical for further help.

You wonder why I am asking for help in that case. Well cos Arlo has been so good for me since I purchased it 7 years ago, I had ordered a new system, four cameras, doorbell, solar panels and it arrived today.

Problem is I have a very narrow return period on it all to obtain a refund and ideally would like it to work.

Hopefully someone can shed some light.

Phone is operating latest IOS system, and there have been no spurrious updates downloaded either.

Are you still experiencing this issue? I've not seen other reports of this so I don't believe it to be widespread. Are you downloading the app from the app store?
