So, every time the local storage reaches a certain amount of recording, or after a number of days, the local storage tab in the feed displays no videos, but an error. Local storage still works and is accessible through the SmartHub. Only reformatting the SD card, which makes me think it's the problem linked to capacity, restores functionality.

 

PS still waiting for the acknowledgement, not to mention the resolution, of the other issues I raised and have not had addressed yet.

I just saw a post that says the latest app (5.7) resolves this issue. Have you updated the app yet for testing?

I have 5.7.0_28835

 

It's happened before. I (idiotically) thought it was my SD card and reformatted it. This issue has happened again, but I'm not formatting my SD card. Issues are Arlo's end, as usual. So, no, the latest version doesn't solve the issue.

 

This can't go on. I spent big money on this system and I'm going to say that I categorically don't get what I paid for. I'm not a tester of their poorly executed software, and I refuse to continue doing that.

 

There have been at least 10 versions of the app released over the past month or so. This suggests it wasn't tested to address whatever issues it was supposed to address. No serious company does that kind of thing. 

 

I'll be writing to the Board of Management as it's a joke what this company does. Since being forced onto this new app, I've not had a day when things worked. This app should be scrapped and users put back onto the old app - I'm sure everyone will welcome that.

Version 5.7.0_28835 does not record local video.  pls fix your software.

This version 5.7.0_28835 released 3/31/25 does not record local video.  This happens before in December.
