Disable mode change notification - we are startled & waken up to system Armed notifications

I use a routine to Arm Home at midnight, and then switch to Standby in early morning.
Now I get woken to an Arlo notification in my phone when the automation runs and the system is Armed and then unarmed.

Please disable these! We wake up to an Arlo alert, which can be frightening, only to see our system as armed like we wanted it to.

Or give us the option to disable such non-useful notifications.

The complaint is understood and the solution is part of a larger grouping of changes that will be coming in a future update. I don't have an estimation at this time for when those changes will be available, but more control over push notifications in general will be part of that update.

    Ron-R,

We're currently working on an enhancement that will allow more customization with push notifications in general (not just mode changes). I don't have an ETA for this enhancement just yet but we will share more information once we move closer to a release date.

    Caspter_NL,

As of now there are no plans to change the Arm/Disarm notifications sent for mode changes. I will continue providing the feedback posted here to the development team for consideration but I do not have any new information to share at this time.

Given how fast updates are released to support new products, or push promotional adverts at us, I am baffled why this highly requested fix is still not available. At this rate there will be no customers left by the time it is released.

Is there any ETA on this?

@Jejfe I agree with your anticipation and excitement for a fix ... but let's be careful here.  This software defect will celebrate it's 3rd birthday next month.  Yes, that's correct, we found the defect in May 2023 (as best I can tell from my own experience and that of others).  3 years !

IMO Arlo has no plans to fix this software defect.  Many of us created cases & tickets to fix it, conveyed logical and compelling reason and implored them to fix.  Yet, those cases & tickets were closed.  @James6 claims they 'intend' to fix --- but with no projected timing or an open/pending case or ticket number that Arlo has provided comments confirming their intent to fix, I'll believe it when I see it.  Just being realistic.  "I am from Missouri .... SHOW ME! "

Working as designed? My camera are set up to disarm at 5am and to arm at 6pm.  I get notification at 1159pm that it’s disarmed and at midnight that it’s armed   Assuming 24 hour day cycle.  So now I get woke up at midnight. If I nut then I don’t know if someone is breaking in.  Who is this dumb?   Sounds to me like the people that design product don’t use product. Says a lot.

You must be using the custom mode scheduling.  If you redo the schedule on my.arlo.com (PC browser), you'll be able to schedule across midnight.  That will eliminate the midnight notification - but you will still get the one at 5 am and 6 pm.
