Badges not appearing on home screen of iphone with new Arlo Secure app

I updated this morning to the new Arlo Secure App. I am no longer seeing badges on the home screen of my iPhone when a camera triggers. I do see a badge if I click on the Arlo app where I see a badge on Feed. But it's much more helpful if I see a badge when I look at my home screen. This was how the old app worked until I upgraded today.

I am running iOS 18.2 on my phone. Arlo Notifications on my phone are set for Immediate and Badges are selected. Notifications are not muted on the Arlo App settings. I have an subscription to the Plus plan.

I should add that I do get notifications of the camera trigger on my iphone and my Apple watch. It's just the badges that don't appear.

The problem seems to have cured itself and I am seeing badges. However, I did go through the steps you directed me to, just to be on the safe side.
