I currently have the old Arlo experience and have tied together geofencing and scheduling so I can use three modes as follows:
Away - everything armed
Home, Day - Two specific outdoor cameras armed, notifications on one of them
Home, Night - All outdoor cameras armed with notifications.
Whenever I’m at home it automatically cycles between the two Home modes; if I’m away it goes in to Away; when I come back, it always goes in to the appropriate Home mode for that time of day.
I’m led to understand that the new app experience is very limited in its customisations and automation. Would I be able to recreate the above?
Thanks in advance.

Ah, as luck would have it I came across the answer right after leaving this post:
https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo/Combine-Schedule-and-Arrive-Leave-Automations/m-p/2340467
The answer is “no” and it also seems that the automation features have been almost completely removed from the new app and replaced by a couple of crude rules that can trigger specific actions. I cannot fathom how a company that designs security systems could come up with that design, what a fundamentally unserious business Arlo is.
