When trying to set my geofence location in the Arlo Secure app on my iPhone 13 Pro Max running 17.6 IOS Apple Map is not recognising me or allowing a marker to be added to the map to confirm the location for geofencing.  I have checked to ensure no other apps are using Apple Map and checked all settings are correct on the iPhone as per Arlo documentation.  What else needs to be done so I can at least tick off the first step of setting up geofencing (…which was working perfectly with the old app).

Thank you to Arlo Support for reaching out.  They highlighted the location pointer in the top right of the edit geofence screen which I hadn’t noticed.  If you touch it it will immediately take you to your location.  However, if you want a different location you do need to manually scroll to the location and hold for several seconds.

I am having the same issue here. Putting anything into the "Home Address" field doesn't move the location marker. I am also not able to "position the marker" at all.

I regret upgrading the app.

Thanks for the feedback. Which version of the iOS app are you using?

I managed to get it working. When at the map, move to your designed location (by scrolling), and then press (and hold for a long time), until it works.

Just confirming that I did as you suggested and Geofencing location now works.  Thankyou very much for letting me know.
