Hello I have set my wife up as an admin with our new essential xl cameras. She is unable to adjust camera sensitivity or any other camera settings. We have tried rebooting her phone, uninstalling the app with no luck. I have verified she is set a admin.

Usually you need to remove her granted access from your account then regrant access again after you make a change of access.

This is expected. See
Note Arlo has recently started to allow multiple logins to the same account. So one option is for the two of you to share your account. There might be some glitches, as this is a new feature.

This a very disapointing change. With the old and and the Arlo 3 pro cameras she was able to to access all settings as an admin. Is there any chance that they are working on an update to add this?

No, the rights are essentially the same with the older interface:
The simplest solution is to use a single account (which is why Arlo finally added that ability after several years of people asking for it).
