Arlo Secure App won't stop asking me to enable contact access

The Arlo Secure app constantly asks me to "enable contact access" in my device settings so I can create emergency contacts. The only way I seem to be able to make this popup stop is by granting the app Full Access to all of my contacts. I do not want to grant the app full access to my contacts. I do not want to create any emergency contacts. I do not want to have to cancel a pop up over and over again every time I use the app or navigate to a new tab within the app. 

 

Is there no option to stop the popup without granting full access to my contacts?

I was only able to resolve the issue by deleting the app from my devices, then downloading and logging in again. So far, after reinstalling the app, the popups have not returned.

I guess Arlo needed something new to piss off their customers. Please someone figure this out. Why would you want to give them access to your contacts?

Did you contact official support? Use the app to go to Settings, Support to talk to them.
